Must be 18 years of age & present a valid governement issue picture id (Driver's License, Passport or Military ID) to register for this auction. No one under 18 years of age will be allowed on the yard.
Inspection
of vehicles:
8:30am (June - September)
9:30am (October - May)

Removal:
Vehicles must be removed no later than 11:59 pm the day
following the auction. All auction vehicles sold must be removed from the auto pound by a licensed Wrecker. No auction vehicle will be driven from the Auto Pound.

Usually
between 150 to 400 impounded and abandoned vehicles are auctioned
off every other Monday.

Cash, Cashiers Checks OR Personal or Company Check (ONLY with original Bank Letter
of Guarentee.)
Bank Letter MUST read:

Full
payment must be made no later than an hour after the final
vehicle is sold.
Pursuant to the Dallas City Charter, all items that exceed $20,000 threshold requires the City of Dallas, City Council approval and will require the bidder to have a hold place on the item(s) purchased for approximately 6 to 8 weeks prior to delivery (Pending city councils approval). In addition, the City of Dallas reserves the right to reject any and all bids. |
