LONE STAR AUCTIONEERS ABSENTEE BID AUCTION NAME: City of Dallas Surplus Fleet Auction AUCTION DATE: July 12, 2012 (1) Absentee bids are accepted in writing and must be received prepaid in full prior to the deadline for this auction. That deadline is 12:00 (noon) CST July 11, 2012. Bids and payments received after this deadline will be returned unprocessed. (3) Lone Star Auctioneers will refund any unused portion of the absentee bid to the bidder by cashiers check. In the event identical bids are received, the earliest postmark will take precedence. Absentee bids shall be accepted in competition with all other bids. Absentee bidders must agree to abide by the same Terms and Conditions of Sale as all other bidders. (4) Successful absentee bidders will be notified by phone (Friday, July 13, 2012). Unsuccessful absentee bidders will receive their cashiers checks returned following the auction by regular mail unless otherwise requested. (5) Lone Star Auctioneers, Inc. assumes no responsibility for failure to execute absentee bids. The final bid prices and reports from the auction are provided to our client, the seller. The Auctioneer shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defect in any lot and makes no warranty in connection therewith. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have inspected thoroughly the merchandise and to have satisfied himself or herself as to its condition and value and to bid based on that judgment solely. All sales are subject to confirmation with the City of Dallas. All items that exceed $20,000 threshold require the Dallas City Council approval and will require the bidder to have a hold place on the item(s) purchased for approximately 6 to 8 weeks prior to delivery pending approval. VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT SHIPPING MUST BE ARRANGED FOR BY THE BIDDER IN ADVANCE, AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH REMOVAL TERMS OF THE AUCTION. PLEASE CONSULT THE AUCTION BROCHURE FOR REMOVAL INFORMATION PRIOR TO SUBMITTING ABSENTEE BIDS. Item Removal is Monday - Friday from 8:00am and 2:00pm by July 19, 2012. A storage fee of $25.00 a day will be charged to those who do not remove their items by this date.
